Program Overview
Project Aquashield / JPRIMA is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) developed by the California Water Association (CWA) and CalMutuals JPRIMA to provide California's investor-owned water utilities with a comprehensive, tailored risk-management solution.
Launched on January 1, 2026, it now delivers broader coverage, stronger stability, and unmatched protection for the state's investor-owned systems.
